Dr. Lindsay McNeil
Clinical Psychologist, Doctor of Psychology (DPsyc)
Hello, I’m Lindsay, a psychologist, mom to 3, wife, and lifelong learner.

I am currently navigating my own wellness journey, so that I can support you on yours.

I’m so glad you’re here.

You deserve to live your best, most authentic and fulfilling life!
I get that, unfortunately, this isn’t always your current reality. I truly believe that we are all doing the best that we can with what is available to us in the moment. Sometimes, that will look different, based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the environment we’re in, the people we surround ourselves with, our nervous system health, past experiences, and limiting beliefs.

I want to support you to learn that you have everything you need already within you, to live your most fulfilling life. But you’re not alone if you find that difficult to imagine, or access at times. It’s ok to ask for support as you step into your own mastery.

That’s where I come in.

With over 15 years of experience in the field, I bring both depth and compassion to the work of therapy.
As a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), my training is rooted in clinical rigour, but my approach is always human-first — curious, relational, and attuned to your unique story.

I support individuals and couples navigating a wide range of experiences, from anxiety, trauma, and grief to relational struggles, life transitions, including the journey to parenthood and beyond, and the quiet search for something more.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what's broken — it's about coming home to yourself.

Whether you're processing something painful or seeking deeper understanding, therapy can offer space to connect with your inner wisdom and move toward greater emotional freedom.
My Therapeutic Approach

I draw from a rich integration of evidence-based and experiential modalities, including:

Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed — exploring the different “parts” of your inner world with compassion and clarity
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — to help process and release the impact of trauma
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) — to restore safety, connection, and emotional intimacy in relationships
Gestalt Psychotherapy — supporting awareness, presence, and integration in the here and now
Attachment-based and trauma-informed care — honouring the relational roots of suffering and healing
Perinatal mental health — including fertility challenges, pregnancy and postpartum transitions, birth trauma, loss, and the evolving identity of parenthood

My approach is tailored, not formulaic.
If you’re looking for worksheets and homework, then I’m probably not the therapist for you.
But if you're interested, together, we can find the rhythm and depth that meets you where you are — and supports where you're ready to go.
More Than a Profession — A Lifelong Commitment

What drew me to psychology is the same thing that keeps me here: a deep respect for the human experience.
I consider myself a lifelong learner, continually evolving through clinical training, reflective practice, my own wellness journey, and the privilege of doing this work with real people every day.

Therapy, to me, is not just about symptom relief — it’s about fostering meaningful, sustainable inner growth. It’s about cultivating a relationship with yourself that feels grounded, authentic, and whole.

If you're ready to explore, heal, or simply reconnect with yourself in a deeper way, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I can't wait to hear from you.
